When Claudia went with Catra, Thace and their friends to Saffron City, they ended up taking a tour of Siph Co and learning about the Adopt-a-Null program... and also about how the adoption nulls get their battle capabilities removed when they're returned to Silph Co. Claudia felt very sorry for them and decided to adopt one of the nulls to give it a better life.
As with all Type: Nulls, Gilgamesh has a glitch. Gilgamesh's glitch is that his legs are much too short and out of proportion with his otherwise normal-sized body, making him the Yamper of Nulls.
His ability is Battle Armor. He's protected from critical hits. His nature is Adamant; he is very strong-willed. Met at Silph Co in Saffron City. Unknown egg group.
Because Gilgamesh is an adopted Null, all his moves have been forgotten and he can no longer battle.
